Update

I found the source of the music. The Cabellero Club is playing in a room in a classic New York pre-war 8 story brownstone apartment across the street. The room is green and festooned with Christmas lights and from the roof of my building you can the shoulder of the guy strumming a guitar and even though it's the dead of winter it sounds like a summer evening in Mexico.
